Last week Grant got an assignment at school to decorate this turkey any way he wanted and it had to be a family project. We got a bag of 15 bean soup and got busy sorting (it took us over an hour). We cut the turkey out, glue it to foam board for support and glued beans to our hearts content. We are all pretty proud of how it turned out!

Pizza, Root Beer & a Movie

The kids and I have started a new tradition this football season...pizza, root beer and a movie! Jeremy officiates high school football and is gone every Friday night so I came up with this treat so the kids would have something out of the ordinary to do and something to get excited about. We have had a lot of fun with it and will continue next season!
We get all cozy and comfy in our jammies and cuddle with blankets and pillows!
Here is Molly during the scene where the bad guys are chasing the puppies!

My Sweet Angels...

The kids and I were hanging out this evening waiting till it was time to go see Daddy at his football game. I made the mistake of logging onto the computer and was "window shopping" on ebay when I heard it. You moms know what "it" is. It is quiet...too much quiet. Then I heard the distinct noise of candy being moved around in a plastic pumpkin. I looked at the table and sure enough the kids pumpkins were gone! I grabbed the camera and this is what I found in the kitchen among the whispers of pleasure.

Molly getting caught by the camera!

Grant realizing he is busted!

They only got about 5 or pieces each...can you guess who ate all the pink ones?
